The main focus of our lacrosse club is on player development; it is our firm belief that players cannot reach their full potential on the field until their fundamentals are rock solid.

These fundamentals are the cornerstone of our lacrosse program at all levels, and we work tirelessly to ensure that all players truly understand the game of lacrosse, the commitment that it takes to reach your potential, and the importance of being a team player.

Fall 2018 Season

Season Dates: 9/17 – 12/5, 2018
Practices: Mon & Wed, 5:00–6:30 p.m.
4:30 – 6:00 p.m. after 11/5

Registration opens August 6.
$300.00 early bird rate (8/6 – 8/31, 2018)
$350.00 regular rate (after 8/31)

Fall 2018 Calendar

Monday, 8/6: Early bird registration at $300/player. Equipment rental registration open at early bird rate.

Friday, 8/31: Regular registration at $350/player. Equipment rental registration at increased rate. All early bird’s rates closed.

Monday, 9/10: Regular equipment rental registration / ordering closes

Friday, 9/14: Regular registration closes at $350.00 per player.

Monday, 9/17: First day of practice. Late Registration, including late registration fee +$25. Equipment pick-up (arrive early). Practice location is Palmetto Bay Park (17535 SW 95th Ave, Palmetto Bay, FL 33157). Regular practices will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 – 6:30 pm

Dates to be announced: Local/season scrimmages

October 20 & 21: Gold Coast Lacrosse Tournament (Boys 8U; 10U; 12U; 14U)

Monday, 11/5: Begin early practices (4:30 – 6:00 PM) to compensate for earlier sundown (daylight saving)!

Monday, 12/5: Last day of practice. Equipment return date.


Who are the coaches?

Head Director: Jim Piggot, Gulliver Prep Program Director and Head Varsity Coach. Associate Head Director: Julio Diaz, Gulliver Middle School Director and Head Middle School Coach.

Who manages the club?

The club is managed by Dade County Sports.

Do I need to tryout for the club?

No tryouts are required; however, space per team is limited. We strongly recommend players register early.

How many tournaments do we participate in?

2 or sometimes 3 per season.

What if I have to miss practice?

Let your coaches know well in advance WHEN and WHY you will miss practice.

What equipment do I need to bring?

We require sticks, helmets, and pads (shoulder pads, elbow pads, and gloves). For your convenience, we offer the option to rent equipment directly from us and return it at the end of the season. You can choose this option, select the equipment you need, and pay for it during the process of online registration.
